Chore Jacket – “Primary Paint”

One-of-a-kind
Each jacket begins with a 1960s Butterick pattern—reshaped, resized, and rebuilt by hand. This one is cut from deadstock natural denim, hand-painted with silk screen ink, and finished with metal buttons. It features a pointed collar, pocket flaps, and is fully lined with muslin for comfort.
The inspiration came from Life Savers candy packaging and vintage Pendleton blankets—both simple, nostalgic forms of comfort. The color palette is straightforward and grounding, evoking warmth, memory, and ease.
Embroidered on the shoulders is my original bluebird drawing, a recurring symbol of More Love, Love More—a thread of protection + Love +Luck.
