The Flour Bag "For the People..." Pants are created from two original flour bag sacks. When I came across the “Donated by the People” sack I wondered if the bag could talk what would be its story? Who filled the bag with flour? Where was it shipped? Who the people that the bag helped feed?
I did a little research and most likely this bag came from the World Food Project. I embroidered part of their mission statement down one leg. “ WFP is an international community committed to end hunger, achieve food security and improve nutrition by 2030. 1 in 10 people worldwide do not have enough to eat.”
I will be making a donation to WFP when these pants sell and hopefully, with more donations and community work by 2030, 10 out of 10 people worldwide will have enough to eat.
