The Tiger is an animal that symbolizes protection, vitality, strength and unpredictability. Peony symbolize wealth, good fortune and prosperity. The peony is a strong symbol of beauty, fragility and transitory nature of existence. Together they create balance.
It was born out of a love for this Dickies jacket. It is the most practical jacket for the cool breezes in the Bay Area. I drew the tiger and peonies and tattooed them with thread.
